Questions & Answers

You can now upload your complete tax claim package via the portal.  There is no need to send your 2023 tax claim by email or submit physical copies to us. We strongly encourage you to upload one single pdf file (correct, complete, signed, and dated claim), through the tax portal. The system will accept file size up to 19.5 MB. In the unlikely event your file size is larger than 19.5 MB, you may split and upload more than one file.

When you assemble your Tax Reimbursement Claim Package, please follow the following order or pages:

  1. Completed UN Form F65 (signed and dated).
  2. Completed UN Form F65A (signed and dated) if your duty station is outside of the USA.
  3. Completed IRS Form 4506-C (signed and date pre-populated).
  4. Signed Dependency Memorandum – If receiving a spousal or dependency allowance and not filing jointly or claiming the dependent.
  5. Proof of payment if you have already made payment on the balance due on your tax claim.
  6. IRS Form 1040 (signed and dated) with all required forms and schedules.
  7. State Tax return (signed and dated) with all required forms and schedules.

All UN forms are now in Adobe Fill-in file format and require an Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete. If the file is opened in a browser, it loses some of its features.
